About Gary Field

The Halifax Hurricanes and Nova Central Ringette Associations would like to pay tribute to the individual behind our tournament. Gary Field was a long-time friend and supporter of ringette in Nova Scotia. He was a volunteer referee and coach and was Director of Officials for Ringette Nova Scotia. He passed away in 2008 but left a lasting legacy for our sport. It is in recognition of his dedication that the Hurricanes hold this annual tournament in his honour.
