About Gary Field

The Halifax Hurricanes and Nova Central Ringette Associations would like to pay tribute to the individual behind our tournament. Gary Field was a long-time friend and supporter of ringette in Nova Scotia. He was a volunteer referee and coach and was Director of Officials for Ringette Nova Scotia. He passed away in 2008 but left a lasting legacy for our sport. It is in recognition of his dedication that the Halifax Hurricanes Ringette Association and Nova Central Ringette Associations jointly host this annual tournament in his honour.
